Uploading your payment information

General guidelines

We will need the following information to be able to pay out your earnings:

- Your current ID or D number for tax related purposes. 

- A Norwegian bank account number. (We cannot accept foreign accounts, including Revolut)

- The IBAN number connected to your Norwegian bank account.

- The BIC/SWIFT code connected to your Norwegian bank.

Specifications

Can I use Revolut?

No, we sadly cannot accept foreign accounts, you will need a Norwegian bank account to receive payouts from us. We recommend Sparebank1:

• Become a customer with BankID
• Become a customer without BankID

I don't have a Norwegian bank account, can I register a friend's?

No, we had the possibility to do this before but it ended up causing issues when receiving the payouts. You can only register your own Norwegian bank account. Failure to do so will be at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible.

I need to know my IBAN/BIC

Your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and BIC (Bank Identifier Code or SWIFT address) should be specified in all payments you receive from Wolt.

Do I need to register as VAT applicable?

This depends on your contract. If you have chosen Freelancer, you do not need to think about VAT. If you chose Contractor, you must pay VAT. However, it is only when you have sold goods and services subject to VAT for more than NOK 50,000 within a period of 12 months that you must register in the VAT register.
