My application has been rejected, what should I do?

Modified on Thu, 29 Feb at 5:45 PM

We really appreciate your interest in joining our company and we want to thank you for the time and energy you invested in sending in an application. We sometimes need to reject applications due to different reasons, here is a guide to help you in case your application has been rejected and you wish to apply again.

My application has been rejected due to a high number of applications

Please remember that our services are based on season and demand. We normally take up to 2 months to review your application, but if you apply in the period from March to August, it might take longer or you might receive a notice of rejection.

Do not take it personally, it has nothing to do with you and we warmly encourage you to send an application at a later date. Applications sent right before or during the winter tend to be processed faster than applications sent during the spring/summer.

My application has been rejected because I am under 18

We sadly cannot commit to a partnership if you are under 18 due to our insurance policies. You are more than welcome to reapply at a later date, once you are 18.

If you really do want to work for Wolt, we sometimes have available positions as Support Associates. The conditions required to apply are:

- Being over 16 years old

- Being a Norwegian speaker (From level B2)

- Being an English speaker (From level B1)

Available full or part time positions can be found here: https://careers.wolt.com/en. Please keep in mind that unlike being a Courier Partner, full or part time positions listed in the link over are subject to mandatory working hours.

My application has been rejected because I am an International Student

As we only have Freelancer and Contractor partnerships with no time regulation, you are only able to work with us from the 15th of June to the 15th of August.

You are still welcome to apply, but please keep in mind that we will need to prioritize full-time applications. The waiting time as an International Student can therefore be longer than the two-month timeframe mentioned over.

My application has been rejected because I do not have a working permit in Norway

We sadly cannot commit to a partnership if you do not have a working permit in Norway due to local laws and regulations. You can contact UDI directly for help concerning this issue: https://www.udi.no/en/contact-us/.

My application has been rejected due to other reasons

If your application has been rejected due to other reasons and you believe that it is due to an error, please contact partners.norway@wolt.com for help.
